* 80 new locally acquired cases

* 67 linked to outbreaks

- 18 connected to the Shepparton outbreak

- Two from the Royal Melbourne Hospital cluster

- 15 to MyCentre childcare in Broadmeadows

- Nine to Hobsons Bay/Wyndham cluster

- Nine household contacts of previous cases

- Four to Newport Football Club

- Three to Caroline Springs shopping centre

- Two to City of Port Phillip and St Kilda East

- One to Altona Gate shopping centre

- One to Brighton

- One to Brunswick East

- One to Glenroy

- One to Sunbury

* 13 unlinked "mystery" cases

* 39 cases isolating while infectious

* 41 cases were not isolating while infectious

* 36 people in hospital

- 23 people aged under 50, including seven in their 20s and one infant

- 11 patients are in intensive care including eight on a ventilator

* 600 active cases

* About 40 total mystery cases, roughly 23 linked on Wednesday

* 56,248 tests in the 24 hours to Thursday morning

VACCINATIONS

* 33,932 vaccines administered on Wednesday at Victorian-run hubs, the biggest day of state-issued vaccinations

* More than 34,000 booked to get vaccines at state hubs on Thursday

* 200,000 vaccine bookings made through the state government system on Wednesday

CLOSE CONTACTS

* About 15,800 primary close contacts

* About 16,600 secondary close contacts

EXPOSURE SITES

* More than 800, including a hospital emergency department listed as a tier-one exposure site
