* 71 new locally acquired cases

* 49 linked to outbreaks

- 14 new Shepparton cases (34 cases total)

- 10 linked to the Newport cluster (61 total)

- 8 cases from the MyCentre childcare in Broadmeadows (50 total)

- 5 connected to Royal Melbourne Hospital (10 total)

- 12 are household contacts of other previous cases

* 22 unlinked 'mystery' cases

* 16 cases isolating while infectious

* 55 cases were not isolating while infectious

* 29 people in hospital, 9 of whom are in intensive care including 5 on a ventilator

* 494 active cases

* 46,446 tests in the 24 hours to Monday morning

OUTBREAK AGE PROFILES

* 112 cases in children aged under 10

* 100 cases in people aged between 10 and 19

* 79 cases in people aged in their 20s

VACCINATIONS

* 22,191 vaccines administered on Sunday at state-run hubs

* 52, 566 vaccination appointments available in the seven days ahead from Monday morning across the state

CLOSE CONTACTS

* About 14,000 primary close contacts

* About 9000 secondary primary close contacts

EXPOSURE SITES

* More than 610 listed including a Brighton BMW dealer and a Richmond apartment complex.
