- 195 in Melbourne's northern suburbs including Craigieburn, Glenroy, Roxburgh Park, and Broadmeadows

- 102 cases in western suburbs including Werribee and Altona North

- 20 cases in southeast suburbs including Keysborough, Narre Warren and Hampton Park

- Five cases in eastern suburbs

- Two cases in regional Victoria, one in Shepparton and one in Mitchell Shire

* 2166 active cases in the state

* 111 people in hospital, 32 in intensive care with 19 on ventilators

* 54,242 tests in the 24 hours to Thursday morning

* Majority of cases aged under 50

- 317 cases in children aged nine and under

- 337 cases in people aged 10 to 19

- 556 cases in people aged in their 20s

- 365 cases in people aged in their 30s


* 37,604 vaccine doses administered on Wednesday at Victorian-run hubs

* 63.2 per cent of eligible population has received first doses

* 81,000 bookings made in Victoria on Thursday

* 7000 first dose AstraZeneca appointments available over the next seven days

* Of the cases in hospital, 89 per cent were not vaccinated, 11 per cent partially or fully vaccinated

* As of September 17, all aged care workers must be vaccinated in Victoria

* 82 per cent of Victoria's public, private and not-for-profit residential aged care workforce have received their first dose


* More than 950 exposure sites including a Dan Murphy's in Mildura
