SNAPSHOT OF VICTORIA'S CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK:

NEW CASES

* 246 new locally acquired cases

* 121 linked to outbreaks and source of 125 cases unknown

- 129 cases in Melbourne's northern suburbs

- 71 in western suburbs

- 21 cases in southeast

- Nine cases in inner city and inner south

- Eight cases in eastern suburbs

- Two cases on the Mornington Peninsula

- One case in Greater Geelong

- Four cases in Shepparton

- Remaining case is under investigation

* 1619 active cases

* 92 people in hospital, 26 in intensive care with 14 on ventilators

- 13 in hospital were not vaccinated and were not eligible when diagnosed

- 67 in hospital were not vaccinated but had been eligible when diagnosed

- 10 were partially vaccinated

- One person was fully vaccinated but is well enough to have been discharged

* 42,258 tests in the 24 hours to Monday morning

* Majority of cases are aged under 50

- 252 cases in children aged nine and under

- 260 cases in people aged 10 to 19

- 411 cases in people in their 20s

- 262 cases in people aged in their 30s

VACCINATIONS

* 26,955 vaccines administered on Sunday at Victorian-run hubs

* 2,610,567 doses administered at state hubs

* The state has 60.9 per cent of first doses administered to people over 16

* 316,000 vaccines to go to in the one million doses in five weeks target set in August

* Currently 10,000 first-dose AstraZeneca appointments and 1000 available first-dose Pfizer appointments available in the next seven days

EXPOSURE SITES

* More than 940 exposure sites including apartment blocks and the acute area of Frankston Hospital's emergency department

- 81 cases linked to Box Hill construction sites

- Pascoe Vale Primary School has four active cases and the school is closed

- Maidstone testing site closed after a partially vaccinated security guard contracted the virus
