* 1920 active cases in the state

* 120 people in hospital, 33 in intensive care with 15 on ventilators

* 42,429 tests in the 24 hours to Wednesday morning

* Majority of cases aged under 50

- 285 cases in children aged nine and under

- 305 cases in people aged 10 to 19

- 498 cases in people aged in their 20s

- 315 cases in people aged in their 30s


* 36,716 vaccine doses administered on Tuesday at Victorian-run hubs

* 246,000 vaccines to go to in the 'one million doses in five weeks' target set in August

* 62.2 per cent of eligible population has received first doses, 38.6 per cent fully vaccinated

* Of the cases in hospital, 87 per cent were not vaccinated, 13 per cent partially vaccinated and none fully vaccinated


* More than 880 exposure sites including a Melbourne CBD office block
