SNAPSHOT OF VICTORIA'S CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK:

NEW CASES

* 473 new locally acquired cases

* 202 cases linked to outbreaks, source of 271 cases unknown

- 338 in Melbourne's northern suburbs, including Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park, Meadow Heights, Broadmeadows and Glenroy

- 97 in western suburbs, including Truganina, Altona North and Tarneit

- 23 in southeastern suburbs, including Casey, Kardinia, Dandenong, Berwick and Clayton

- Nine cases in eastern suburbs, including Doncaster East and Ferntree Gully

- Six cases in regional Victoria, three in Mildura and three in Geelong. All primary close contacts of known cases

* 3507 active cases in the state, all but four locally acquired

* 157 people in hospital, 38 in intensive care with 26 on ventilators

* 49,037 tests in the 24 hours to Monday morning

* Majority of cases aged under 40

- 529 cases in children aged nine and under

- 585 cases in people aged 10 to 19

- 840 cases in people aged in their 20s

- 627 cases in people aged in their 30s

VACCINATIONS

* 30,032 vaccine doses administered on Sunday at Victorian-run hubs, a Sunday record

* 66.9 per cent of the eligible population has received first dose, 41 per cent fully vaccinated

* Of the cases in hospital, 89 per cent were not vaccinated and 11 per cent were partially vaccinated

EXPOSURE SITES

* More than 1000 exposure sites including a Geelong construction site and a kindergarten in South Morang
