Six people charged over defence protest in Telford
Six people have been charged after a protest at defence industry event in Telford.
Environmental activists chained themselves to the gates of Telford International Centre as the two-day Specialist Defence and Security Convention UK began.
Four women and two men were charged with intentionally or recklessly causing a public nuisance, police said.
They are due to appear at Telford Magistrates' Court on 12 December.
