Teen passenger gets six months over fatal smash

Six months, that’s all the jail time a 17 year old has received for his involvement as a passenger in a high-speed crash that claimed the life of mother of two, Nicole Tucker.

An Adelaide youth court heard on Friday that the stolen car had been speeding at more than 200 kilometres per hour before that crash at Bedford Park last October.

Mrs Tucker’s husband Brett was in court to watch the sentence.

He told the court the youths involved had taken his soul mate for no apparent reason.

The driver will be sentenced as an adult at a later date.
