Six charged in $2.5 mln cannabis bust

Four men and two women are set to face court following police raids which discovered $2.5 million-worth of cannabis.

On Wednesday police raided 13 homes throughout Sydney discovering a sophisticated hydroponic set-up and allegedly seized cannabis plants with a potential street value of $2.5 million.

The six, all in their early 20s, were refused bail and will appear in Bankstown Local Court on Thursday, charged with various illicit drug-related and criminal offences.
