Confronting video played in court shows the moment police came face to face with an alleged terrorist.
Ihsas Khan had just stabbed his neighbour in the Sydney suburb of Minto, and was threatening to kill others, leaving officers no choice but to Taser him.
The video shows police yelling at Khan: “Get back! Get back! Drop the knife!”
It was just moments after he had almost hacked someone to death.

Still, Khan got up and then explained why he attacked his neighbour, saying, “you were killing innocent women and children in Iraq.”

At the police station, he spoke of his idol – Curtis Cheng’s teenage killer Farhad Jabar.
Asked in a police interview what he wanted to achieve, he replied: “To kill and be killed.”
While he was being questioned, his victim Wayne Greenhalgh lay in a hospital bed with slashes to his face, arms and body.
The Crown case is expected to wrap up by the end of the week.
It is not yet known whether Ihsas Khan will take to the witness box but he has pleaded not guilty, claiming he was suffering from a mental illness at the time.
