A hoon driver has been filmed losing control of his car and slamming into another vehicle in Sydney’s south much to the frustration of police.
The crash was filmed on Kingsgrove Road on Sunday, about 7.30pm.
In the video, the car accelerates down the road before losing control and hitting another vehicle.
Onlookers run onto the street to help.
Paramedics assessed four people with one person taken to hospital.
NSW Traffic and Highway Patrol Inspector Phil Brooks said police needed to “prosecute this driver very quickly” to not only change their behaviour but prevent further accidents.
“It’s time that this driver and his friends took responsibility for their own actions and come forward,” he said.
Residents in the area also said they’re concerned about hoon drivers using a local service station as a meeting point.
Police have warned those involved in street racing it’s only a matter of time before they’re caught.
