Shocking road rage fight breaks out in middle of Sydney roundabout
Police are calling on the public for help to identify two drivers who began throwing punches on a roundabout in Sydney’s West.
While no-one has made a complaint to authorities, NSW Police are investigating the road rage attack after security cameras captured the incident.
A black hatchback is seen mounting a roundabout on the corner of Cumberland Road and Mona Street at about 2.30pm.
The woman behind the wheel jumps out and confronts a man driving a silver ute.
It appears he tries to kick her away but is drawn out of the car.
The pair then tussle with one another as other cars pass by.
It’s only after the female motorist lands a volley of upper cuts that her passenger steps in, ending the fight.
“This is totally unacceptable behaviour, we will not tolerate it,” Auburn Police Acting Inspector Karl Leis said.
“Come forward and speak to us before we come knocking on your door.”
Police are confident it will not take long to identify those involved, given the clarity of the security footage.
