The shocking moment collapsing footpath swallows up women
WARNING – DISTURBING CONTENT: The terrifying moment two women were injured when the footpath collapsed under their feet has been captured on CCTV.
As the pair casually chatted and strolled along the street in the southeast Turkish province of Diyarbakir on Wednesday, the footpath they were standing on crumbled beneath them, sending them plummeting.
Security cameras captured the terrifying moment that seemed to happen without warning.
Rubble fell on top of the women, appearing to pin and trap the pair underneath, but they only suffered minor injuries, Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak reported.
Passers-by can be seen rushing to help the women before the short clip ends.
