A blind, abandoned Labrador, who became an instant star has finally found a home of her own.
A post looking for a new home for Dumpling the dog went viral on Thursday after Labrador Rescue wrote she had been dumped by her previous family.
People fell in love with the pooch after her heartbreaking story was shared on Facebook.
“Unfortunately I was dumped at the pound at 10 years old, blind, overweight and alone,” Labrador Rescue wrote.
“I don't need much in life just a nice warm home in which to enjoy my last few years.”
The shelter said it was inundated with messages offering to home Dumpling but it came down to 63 applicants.
On Saturday, the dog found her home and a family willing to give her the love and kindness she needs.
Dumpling is now living with Debbie and Craig Ingebrigtsen and their dog Bob in Rothwell, north of Brisbane, 7News reported.

"She's adorable, we're really grateful that we've been given the opportunity to look after her and give her the wonderful life that she deserves," Ms Ingebrigtsen told 7News.
Mr Ingebrigtsen added he’s sure their other dog Bob will be more than welcoming to the new member of the family.
The shelter’s Ashleigh Murphy added she hopes Dumpling’s story will lead to more people adopting older dogs.
