The couple welcomed Billy, their first child in May last year. He arrived early via caesarean-section.

Smith and Horn began dating in early 2018 after reportedly meeting through dating app Tinder. They are believed to have become engaged after just three months and live together in rural Kent.

Smith dated model Graham Nation for several months in 2017 and before that had an on/off relationship with Hollyoaks actor Greg Wood, 40.

Between 2007 and 2009 she dated Gavin & Stacey co-star James Corden.

During the first UK lockdown of the coronavirus pandemic Smith acted while heavily pregnant in ITV's Isolation Stories, filmed in her own home.

The West End star also opened up about her mental health battles in ITV documentary Becoming Mum, giving producers exclusive access to her life in the four months leading up to the birth of her son.

This year Smith has presented BBC dog grooming show Pooch Perfect - which has not been renewed for a second series - and was a guest judge on Ru Paul's UK Drag Race.
