Seven-year-old girl in hospital after dog attack in Glasgow

A seven-year-old girl has been attacked by a dog in the east end of Glasgow.

Police were called to Maukinfauld Road in Tollcross at 15:00 and the girl was taken to hospital.

Her condition is not known, nor is the breed of the dog. Officers have said there is no risk to the wider public.

A spokesperson for the force said inquiries were ongoing.
