The 54-year-old’s death follows that of a 69-year-old woman, later identified as the grandmother of the 20-year-old. It’s alleged the 20-year-old stabbed her in her home at Bega.

The man faced court on Sunday charged with murder and two counts of wound with intent to murder.

He was remanded in custody and is due to face court again on Monday.

NSW Police said his charges are expected to be upgraded as investigations continue.
