A second man has died in hospital after a shooting in Sydney's inner west last week.
Just after 1pm on Friday emergency services were called to Henry Street, Lewisham, after a 36-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his chest.
He died on the way to hospital.
A short time later, a 55-year-old man - known to the younger man - was found in a nearby home on Victoria Street, suffering a gunshot wound to his head.
He was taken Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition and died on Sunday night.
Detectives from Inner West Police Area Command, assisted by the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad, are investigating the deaths under Strike Force Henne.
