A second person has been charged with murder over the stabbing of a man in western Sydney earlier this year.

The 25-year-old man was arrested on Thursday and charged with the murder of a 22-year-old from Minchinbury.

The victim's body was discovered at a reserve in Emu Plains in September.

The man was refused bail to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court on Friday.

Another man, 21, was on Tuesday charged with murder.

Two other men, 22 and 26, were previously arrested and charged over their alleged roles in the incident and they remain before the courts.
