A second man has been charged over the deaths of 11 kangaroos on the NSW South Coast.
Police were called to Dress Circle and Headland Drive at Tura Beach, north of Eden, on Sunday, September 29 and found a scene of carnage, with multiple dead kangaroos lying on the road.
It's alleged about 20 kangaroos were hit by a vehicle and 11 killed the previous night, police say.
Police on Thursday afternoon charged a 33-year-old Tura Beach man with torture, beat and cause the death of an animal.
He has been granted conditional bail ahead of a scheduled appearance at Bega Local Court in November.
His arrest comes after a 19-year-old Numbugga man was charged with the same offence earlier in October.
