Frantic search for baby and parents missing in Melbourne

An eight-month-old baby is missing in Melbourne along with his dad, who is wanted by police after allegedly removing his ankle bracelet.

Baby Chayse is thought to be with his mother Britany and father Che Proctor, police said on Friday.

Proctor is wanted for breaching parole after allegedly removing his ankle bracelet and is avoiding police.

The baby was last seen at Lalor on Tuesday.

Images of the family, known to frequent Lalor and Mill Park areas, have been released.

Investigators hope that someone may recognise the family and can provide information on their current whereabouts.
