Search underway for judge missing in Brisbane bushland

A search is underway in Brisbane's Mt Coot-tha forest reserve to find a man missing since Sunday.

The man, reported to be Federal Circuit Court Judge Guy Andrew, left his north Brisbane home early on Sunday, driving in the direction of Mt Coot-tha where he regularly takes a morning walk, police say.

His vehicle was located yesterday afternoon around 2pm at Dillon Road, The Gap, however the Mr Andrew has not been sighted.

Police and the man’s family hold concerns for his welfare but police do not believe his disappearance is suspicious.

A ground search commenced yesterday in Mount Coot-tha and is continuing to Monday, with assistance from about 40 SES members, along with police trail bike riders.

He is described as Caucasian, 176cm tall with grey hair and brown eyes.
