Search for mystery millionaire as lotto win unclaimed after a month
The search continues for a mystery millionaire who is yet to find out they’ve scored a life-changing lottery win.
The entrant purchased their TattsLotto ticket in Melbourne for the December 22 draw but has yet to come forward to claim their prize one month on.
They are set to take home a cool $1,018,499.24.
The winning numbers for draw 3905 were 5, 14, 41, 29, 43 and 9, while the supplementary numbers were 37 and 15.
The winning ticket came from the city’s northern suburb of Coburg and was bought at Coburg Hub Lotto on Sydney Road.
The store’s owner Prokash Kundu said he was eager to unite the winner with their prize.
“We’ve been telling everyone to check their tickets!” he laughed.
“A few people have been speculating about the delay in our winner coming forward.
“Are they on holidays? Or have they lost the ticket?”
The winning entry is not registered to a Tatts Card meaning Tatts officials have no way of contacting the winner to break the news.
Tatts spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said she was eager to confirm the division one win with the state’s mystery millionaire so they could start planning how to spend their life-changing windfall.
“Our winner could be completely unaware that they are now over $1 million richer! Imagine how your plans for 2019 would change if you discovered you are a newly-minted millionaire!” she said.
“You may not think it’s possible that you could be the unregistered division one winner we are looking for, but if you purchased an entry in last month’s TattsLotto draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!”
Ms Spencer urged all entrants to the draw to check their tickets as soon as possible so the process of uniting the impressive sum with its rightful owner could begin.
