The search continues for a 62-year-old man missing after falling from his horse into a fast-flowing river, in Far North Queensland.
The man was leading horses through the Burdekin River on a private property at Ravenswood, southwest of Townsville, about 2pm on Monday when he fell into the water and disappeared.
He fell into the river about 1km south of the railway bridge, a police spokesperson confirmed to Yahoo News Australia.
The search began about 2.20pm Monday, with police and firefighters scouring the area, and continued overnight, according to the Townsville Bulletin.
Emergency crews continue to search the area on Tuesday, joined by extra resources, including swiftwater rescue teams.
