Search for 13-year-old boy last seen at shopping centre


Police and the family of a 13-year-old boy are hoping members of the public might be able to provide information on the whereabouts of the child, who was reported missing from a Queensland town on Tuesday.

The 13-year-old was last seen at a shopping centre on Logan River Road in Holmview, south-west of Brisbane, around 4.45pm on Monday, April 23 and was reported missing the next day on April 24.

Police and family members hold concerns for the boy’s welfare due to his young age and a medical condition.

He is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, approximately 155cm tall, with brown hair and brown eyes, and has some facial scarring.

He was last seen wearing a tan hat, black jumper, blue shorts and black ‘Vans’ shoes.

The boy is known to frequent the Beaudesert and Browns Plains areas.
