Unusual detail in Scarlett Johansson's wedding announcement
Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost are married after three years of dating.
The couple made the announcement in an unusual way, choosing to snub any magazine deals to instead let the world know by shedding some awareness on a very important organisation.
The 36-year-old actress and 38-year-old Saturday Night Live co-head writer, released the news via the Meals on Wheels Instagram account, a company dedicated to helping the elderly.
“We’re thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and love ones, following COVID-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC,” the post read.
“Their wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable older adults during this difficult time by supporting @mealsonwheelsamerica. Please consider donating to celebrate the happy couple by clicking the link in our bio.”

Scarlett and Colin are reported to have started dating in 2017, just months after she filed for divorce from her second husband, Romain Dauriac.
Colin is believed to have popped the question in May 2019. He previously dated Parks & Recreation star Rashida Jones for three years until 2016.
The Marriage Story star is a mum to one child, Rose Dorothy, whom she welcomed into the world in 2014 with Romain.
Scarlett was also married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds, with the couple marrying in 2008 and splitting in 2010.
