Two little girls cried to neighbours after their dad allegedly murdered their mum and older sister.
Nikoleta Zdun, 18, and 40-year-old Aneta Zdun, from Salisbury – west of London, allegedly died at the hands of Marcin Zdun, 39, on Monday about 3pm (local time), The Sun reported.
It’s alleged he slit their throats.
Neighbour Jan Maher, 62, told the paper she took Nikoleta’s little sisters aged five and six away from the scene.
This was after another neighbour had brought them to her and said the sisters “were screaming the place down”.
Ms Maher told The Sun the neighbour told her, “He’s cut her throat”.
"As I was walking them (the girls) back, they were saying, ‘He’s cut mummy, he’s cut mummy, he’s cut mummy’,” Ms Maher told the paper.
It’s alleged Zdun was chased down by neighbours running from the home.
Wiltshire Police said in a statement a 39-year-old man remains in police custody on suspicion of two counts of murder.
Detective Chief Inspector Darren Hannant said post-mortems of the girl and woman were currently being undertaken.
Superintendent Dave Minty added the incident was “tragic”.
