Melody Horrill

Melody joined Seven after working for Channel Ten as their environmental reporter and back up weather presenter from 1999.
Melody's career also includes reporting stints at Channel 9 and the ABC.

Melody was born in England and moved to Australia when she was 8 years old. As well as her previous role at Channel Ten, she has also worked as a presenter and reporter on Adelaide Today and Nine News for Channel Nine and as a freelance journalist for ABC News.

Melody completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communications at the University of South Australia in 1993 and has also completed a Certificate in Media and Public Relations at the Adelaide Institute.

Melody has a passion for marine life and co-founded the Australian Dolphin Research Fund with Dr Mike Bossley before her move into the media. She has been instrumental in the protection of Adelaide's Port River Dolphins.

Melody is a member of CNN's International Professionals, a patron for KESAB, an Honorary Associate of the Royal Adelaide Zoological Society and ambassador for Save the Children Foundation and the Animal Welfare League.
