Mark Soderstrom
Mark Soderstrom is the Weekend Sport Presenter for Adelaide’s No. 1 rating Seven News.
Mark joined the team in2004as a part time sport presenter and reporter and in 2012 commenced the dual role of full time Weekend Sport Presenter and Reporter.
Mark played 121 games in the SANFL with North Adelaide, Glenelg and Sturt before starting his media career.
Mark was part of the ABC’s SANFL commentary team for nine years.
When the SANFL coverage returned to Channel Seven in 2014 Mark took on the role of fronting the local league telecasts, where the SANFL television audience doubled with the return to a commercial station.
Mark is a former physical education teacher and also held a long term role with the SA Metropolitan Fire Service as a fire fighter.
As well as his role at Seven News, Mark is also co-host of Adelaide’s No. 1 FM breakfast show on MIX102.3. Mark has a passion for sport, fitness and family. He is married to Kate and has a cheeky son, Felix.
