Risky business: Koala makes mercy dash across four-lane highway
Maybe it's not just cats that have nine lives.
Motorists driving along Adelaide's busy Salisbury Highway couldn't believe their eyes when a koala darted across in front of them in heavy traffic.
The koala can be seen stopping and starting, at one point looking directly into the shocked driver's dash cam.
"Oh my god," the motorist can be heard saying as traffic starts up again. "S**t."
Just in the nick of time, the koala darts across a quieter part of the four-lane dual carriageway.
"Wait a minute, I'm going to grab my mobile," a second person can be heard saying.
Thankfully, the koala appears to make it to the other side without getting hit.
