Cranes set for former SA Holden site

A crane manufacturing business will be set up on the site of Adelaide's former Holden plant, creating nearly 200 jobs.

Australian Crane and Machinery will establish a $16 million plant, with the state government providing $2 million in grants from its economic investment fund.

"It will create a diverse range of jobs and apprenticeships in the metal trades," Premier Jay Weatherill said on Thursday.
