SA Crime Stoppers to get funding boost

The South Australian government has pledged nearly a million dollars to boost Crime Stoppers.

It will provide an additional $960,000 over four years to ensure the phone service continues to help SA police solve crimes, Police Minister Chris Picton says.

"In its two decades of operation, it has helped solve almost 30,000 crimes - including some of South Australia's most heinous cases," Mr Picton said in a statement on Wednesday.
