SA beer maker gets $2 million for brewery

The South Australian government has pledged $2 million to a craft beer company investing in a new brewery at Port Adelaide.

Pirate Life Brewing will build the $15 million facility in the port's historic woolstores, employing 80 people.

"This young South Australian company has quickly distinguished itself in a rapidly growing craft beer market, catching the attention of consumers nationally and internationally," Premier Jay Weatherill said in a statement on Tuesday.
