Pregnant woman tasered during Adelaide home invasion

Cameras from 7 News have captured the arrest of a man after a pregnant woman was tasered during an Adelaide home invasion.

Police say a 36-year-old Port Noarlunga man forced his way into a Parramatta Drive, Morphett Vale, house at about 9.30pm on Wednesday night while two women he knew were inside.

He stole phones and a purse before tasering one of the women and fleeing the southern suburbs property.

A statement from South Australia Police said the pregnant woman's injuries were not serious.

She was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre but released later on Wednesday night.

A man was arrested on Thursday at the same property at which the alleged attack occurred.

He was taken to the Christies Beach police station in Adelaide's south, where he will face aggravated serious criminal trespass, assault, breach of bail and theft charges.

SAPOL said it expects bail will be refused when he faces court on Thursday afternoon.
