Thief steals charity vouchers from bushfire victims
A heartless thief has stolen the remaining possessions of a family who lost their home in the Pinery bushfire.
Mother of four Sam Antony’s handbag was taken yesterday afternoon at the Munno Para shopping centre.
Inside was $4000 worth of donated gift vouchers, and her mobile phone containing her last remaining photos.
The distraught family wants the thief to know they have stolen from innocent children who have already suffered enough.
“The kids are absolutely devastated,” Kimberly Allmond said.
“They’ve lost absolutely everything they own and what they were given has just been taken from then.”
Police are hunting the offender.
