Molotov cocktail thrown into house

The Crime Gangs task force is investigating a fire in Adelaide’s northern suburbs after a Molotov cocktail was thrown in a house last night.

Police and fire crews were called to the home on Rosecombe Place at Parafield Gardens at about 8.45pm after neighbours reported smoke coming from the house.

Fire fighters extinguished a small fire in the kitchen that damaged curtains and walls.

No-one was at home at the time of the blaze.

Police say glass fragments found near the fire have led them to believe it was a Molotov cocktail.

They say the incident is not random.
