Car crashes into neighbour’s home

A man has been arrested after allegedly driving his car into his neighbour’s house at Seaford, in Adelaide's south.

Police say they discovered the vehicle crashed into the Carlisle St home after going to investigate reports of a car doing burnouts in the area just before 9.30pm.

They say the man had allegedly driven through his back fence and crashed into his neighbour’s home, causing $60,000 damage.

He was charged with property damage and will appear in court at a later date.

An elderly lady who was in the home at the time of the crash managed to escape uninjured.
