Appeal for help to identify assault suspect

The man police want help identifying.

Police have released security footage from a bus in the hope someone can help them identify a man suspected of a serious assault in Adelaide.

On September 29, a group of five men got onto the 235 bus on North Terrace, before a fight broke out between them and another group of 10 people already on the bus.

Police said when the fight broke out, a man aged in his 60s from the group of five went to leave the bus and was punched in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground.

He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with facial injuries.

Police have released security footage of the assault suspect getting onto the bus.

He is described as Caucasian, aged in his early 20s and about 170cm tall.
