A man has appeared in court over an alleged post office robbery and alleged police pursuit in Adelaide’s northern suburbs yesterday afternoon.
Police say the man allegedly threatened staff at a Pooraka post office with a firearm at about 3.20pm and fled in a white Telstar sedan.
They say that following an alleged pursuit, the alleged offender was arrested at the corner of Salisbury Hwy and Waterloo Corner Rd at about 4.20pm.
A 37-year-old Parafield Gardens man has been charged with aggravated robbery, driving to evade police, acts to endanger life and numerous traffic offences.
He did not apply for bail and will appear in court again in November.
