SA schools to move to pupil-free days

South Australian schools will move to pupil free days in the lead-up to Easter next week in response to the coronavirus.

Education Minister John Gardner says the change will assist the state's educators to plan and prepare to transition to flexible learning in Term 2.

"With the increasing number of children absent from our schools, our teachers need this time to prepare for the difficult challenge of meeting the needs of learners who are at home," Mr Gardner said.
