Fingerprints found on boxes containing cannabis and methamphetamines have led to the arrest of a South Australian man over on drug trafficking charges.

Police first seized the drugs in September last year after an investigation into an interstate trafficking operation involving a transport company.

The 41-year-old man was arrested at his Mt Gambier home on Tuesday, charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs and was bailed to appear in the Mt Gambier Magistrates Court on May 2.
