An Adelaide man has been charged over using Facebook to procure three 14-year-old girls for sex.
Police also allege the 29-year-old obtained the mobile phone number of one of the girls and made calls threatening to kill her.
He has been refused police bail to appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Thursday, on three counts of procuring children for sexual activity and with making threats to kill.
Detective Chief Inspector Catherine Hilliard urged parents to be aware of the threats and dangers that existed online.
She said parents should have an understanding of who their children were meeting online and who they were engaging with.
"These are obviously serious allegations," she said.
Insp Hilliard said it was not alleged the man posed as a teenager but said he did not reveal his identity.
It's alleged the offending occurred between August 2017 and January 2018.
