SA govt to cut emergency services levy

South Australian households are set to save an average of $144.85 over the coming year after the Liberal government announced a cut to the emergency services levy.

The reduction was a key election commitment for the government, and is projected to put $360 million back into the households over the next four years.

"This will make it easier for South Australians who were struggling under Labor's high taxing administration to pay their bills, and in fact this will be a stimulus for the South Australian economy," Premier Steven Marshall said on Thursday.
