Ellen Ryan has revived her Commonwealth Games singles campaign with a comeback 21-17 win over Canada's Jordan Kos.

The Australian was trailing 10-3 after nine ends before mounting her fightback at Victoria Park in Leamington Spa on the outskirts of Birmingham.

Kos repelled that first surge to again lead 16-11 before Ryan stormed home.

The victory came after the 24-year-old had split her opening day matches 1-1 and left her second in the group, behind unbeaten Lucy Beere of Guernsey.

Australia's para men's pairs team were beaten 13-12 by England before rallying for a 21-15 win over Scotland while the men's triples team beat Jersey 15-14 to complete a 3-0 sweep of their group.

Scotland's women's fours teams defied some pinpoint early efforts from Australia to run them down 16-9 while the South African men's team beat Australia 17-8.

And Australia's para women's pairs notched wins over South Africa (18-7) and New Zealand (19-8) to stay unbeaten in their pool games.
