Russian troops bombed grain silos in the town of Vovchansk, Kharkiv Oblast, destroying all grain within, regional senior investigator for Ukrainian police, Serhiy Bolvinov, said on Facebook on Jan. 14.
Two guided bombs were launched by Russian forces, resulting in damage to the silos, as well as surrounding grain processing facilities.
"The shelling occurred overnight, with only the usual security guards present,” Bolvinov said.
“Fortunately, there were no casualties."
A criminal case has been opened in response to this act violating laws and customs of war, Bolvinov added.
