For her safety and that of the other passengers, flight attendants decided to tie the woman to a seat with rope and sticky tape with the help of others onboard, according to local media.

She remained restrained until the plane arrived at its destination.

She was detained by the police at Novosibirsk International Airport after landing.

The woman reportedly admitted that she took a synthetic drug before departure.

The police investigation is ongoing.
