Robin Thicke's "miserable week" wasn't so miserable after all.
Media outlets in Australia and worldwide reported that Thicke's album, Paula, hadn't made it into last week's Australian charts and had sold less than 54 copies. However, the album hadn't actually been released yet.
Paula, named after the singer's estranged wife Paula Patton, was released in Australia on July 4 and debuted at No 207 in the ARIA chart, released on Sunday.
But iTunes took pre-orders for the release from June 30 and pre-orders do not count towards the ARIA chart in the week they are taken.
Despite the perceived lack of interest for the album, the video for the single Get Her Back has reached more than 5 million views since it was first published on YouTube three weeks ago.
