Robert Irwin involved in 'massive crash' on mountain bike
Robert Irwin has taken to Instagram to reveal he was involved in a "massive crash" on his mountain bike over the weekend and was rushed to hospital.
The 16-year-old shared a photo of himself beaming at the camera with cuts to his face and his right arm in a sling with the caption reading, "Wisdom teeth healed just in time for a massive crash on my mountain bike that resulted in a separated shoulder!"
The Sunshine Coast Daily reports Robert was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital at around 11am on Saturday.
Robert's celebrity friends were quick to comment on the picture with Blue Wiggle Anthony Field writing, "Ouch!! Get well mate!"
Presenter Amanda Keller added, "Your poor mum!" Rove McManus joked, "Because you’re not hardcore unless you live hardcore."
One follower wrote, "Maybe you should stay in a padded room wrapped in bubble wrap! I don't trust 2020 and you must be protected. The world needs you!"
Another said, "Robert Irwin you be more careful!! Don’t you know we all love you and want you safe... get well soon."
Someone else said that he was adventurous just like his dad Steve Irwin.
Another user joked, "See, that's what happens when you remove all the wisdom," referring to Robert's wisdom teeth getting removed a week earlier.
Robert recently shared a sneak peak into his sister Bindi Irwin's wedding to Chandler Powell with the video causing most of his followers to end up in tears.
"Did anyone else cry uncontrollably? So happy for this darling family," one person wrote.
A second wrote, "Well that made me cry. So beautiful guys."
Someone else added, "I didn’t even cry this much at my sisters wedding oh my god."
