Others just couldn’t get over how much Robert bears a striking resemblance to his late father, Steve Irwin.

“So much like your father, Rob. Amazing to see you and Bindi grow like this and really live up to everything your dad started. He’d be so proud of you,” one person commented.

“No fear, just like your dad,” another said.

Robert was only two years old when his father tragically passed away in 2006. Steve was killed when a stingray barb pierced his heart while filming episodes of his television series, The Crocodile Hunter.

Along with his sister, Bindi and his mum, Terri, Robert has dedicated his young life to helping carry on the work that his father started, raising awareness for environmental and conservation causes.

2020 was a big year for Robert. He walked his sister down the aisle when she married Chandler Powell in March, continued shooting the family reality show, Crikey It’s the Irwins and is now gearing up to become an uncle for the first time.

He took to his Instagram to look back on the year, writing: “2020. What can I say. You’ve been weird... you’ve brought some of the most difficult challenges and devastating losses but also the most unforgettable milestones, incredible adventures and beautiful, life changing moments. I’m certainly never going to forget this year! 2021 - let’s do this!”
