A major road closed for more than six hours due to a "serious multi-vehicle" crash is expected to reopen shortly, National Highways has said.

The A47 in Norfolk, was closed in both directions between the Honingham roundabout and the North Tuddenham junction this afternoon.

In a post on X at about 21:30 BST on Thursday, National Highways said: "Police collision investigation works are ongoing at scene but we're hoping the road will re-open shorty."
